Based on a poem by Qatari poet Saoud Al-Kuwari, Queen of the Mountains creates an installation where viewers can experience a feeling of shared immersion through a spherical projection on a dome structure. The project was created by a collaborative team of artists and designers working with software such as Blender and Unity. The piece reflects the natural beauty and history of the landscape, as well as the diverse population of the Gulf region.
The project was chosen to exhibit at both Ars Electronica 2024, in Linz, Austria. It was also exhibited at Fulldome UK, in Cardiff, Wales.
